Vegetable Pepper 'Long Sweet Yellow'

This popular garden-variety pepper is very juicy and mild in flavor.  It is banana shaped and changes from pale to deep yellow or orange as it matures.  It is a great pepper to eat raw in salads, sandwiches or stuffed.  This perennial plant produces large, generally 6” long peppers.  The Long Yellow Sweet Pepper plant should be treated as most plants in the pepper family.  You should harvest it by cutting the pepper from the plant when it has reached full-size or has changed color.  This 2-3’ plant should be planted in full sun with 2-4’ between rows.
