The Roma Tomato is the most common plum tomato and the easiest tomato you can grow in your garden. Roma’s are about 2-3” long and weigh about 2 oz. They have a very dense flesh which makes them have less seeds than other tomatoes and are more meaty, with less juice than others. This makes these red egg shaped tomatoes perfect for canning or in sauces. They do have a more mild flavor then other tomatoes,  but you can enrich the flavor if you roast them.
