Purslane Portulaca oleracea 'Mix'
Purslane
Sedan Purslane Mix produces lovely blooms in the Sedan colors amidst its foliage that grows and trails gracefully over the edges of borders, baskets, containers and rock ledges. Sedan Purslane Mix is a heat-lover and sun-worshipper. It is also drought resistant which makes it a great choice for late Spring, Summer and Fall weather. Its rounded, succulent green leaves are a beautiful backdrop for its 1-1 1/2” blooms that bloom throughout the Spring, Summer and Fall. Purslane is at its peak when the sun is full and hot, then its blooms are opened up wide for the best display of color.

Homeowner Growing & Maintenance Tips
Sedan Purslane prefers full sun and is drought resistant, so if you forget to water occasionally…..don’t worry. For best results, do not over water your Purslane! You should deadhead spent plants just to make sure your Purslane continues to produce great blooms. Sedan Purslane does not require fertilizer, and too much of it will result in more foliage and fewer blooms.
