Lagurus Ovatus is commonly referred to as “Bunny Tails”. It reaches heights of up to 12” and grows in lovely clumps. Amid the Summer months, the bunny tails begin to erupt from the lovely green foliage. Although it is an annual, the delightful bunny tail grass holds its appeal through fall until the bunny tails catch the first heavy snow. The adorable tails are attractive in flower beds and may be dried for beautiful indoor or outdoor floral arrangements. The green foliage fades gently into a warm tan color as the temperatures begin to drop in the Fall. The tails stay beautifully in tact even after the foliage has faded to tan, making this an attractive fall accent outside or inside. This pleasing grass is beautiful as a backdrop for smaller bedding plants or along walkways where all who pass may smile at the tufts dancing and bobbing in the wind.
